We are a small company who believe in the personal touch. Our driver/guides are ex police officers with advanced driving qualifications and a background in looking after VIPs, so your safety and comfort are assured. We can offer "off the shelf" tours but are happy to work with you to design a bespoke tour to cover your individual requirements. We use luxury 4x4s and People Carriers to accommodate small groups and our extensive knowledge of the Duchy means that we can be completely flexible in meeting your needs.

Fantastic day out, exploring from one end of the Penwith Peninsula to the other from Newquay. Peter was so accommodating, allowing us to amend our plan so that we could sleep in and ending our adventure close to midnight! Peter recommended we stop at the little out of the way places we would otherwise have missed, like a secret fogou, beautiful, picturesque St Mawes Harbor, a seal and penguin sanctuary (big hit with our kids!) and pub night with the locals in Mousehole. Tiny lanes? No problem! Peter is an expert driver and outstanding tour guide. At the end of the evening, we left the Minack Theatre only to find Pete the first car at the top of the stairs. How did he do that? A perfect day, made easy and more enjoyable with Pete at the wheel. Highly recommended!

Fantastic day, exploring Cornwall, would highly recommend this fabulous touring company. Peter, is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Such a lovely way to be chauffeur driven in a 4x4 around the narrow, windy roads, by an extremely experienced driver. We were taken to St Michaels Mount, Minack Theatre, Mousehole, Botallack, Penberth Cove and St Ives. We had a lovely day out and learnt so much from Peter, telling us some very interesting stories/facts!! I have visited Cornwall every year for most of my life and Peter found us some very lovely little places that we hadn't been to before and we loved listening to some of the history about them. I'm very much looking forward to next year’s Gin tour with Peter and the Elite Duchy Touring Co.

Our family spent 3 nights in Cornwall June 30-July 3. We did not rent a car, and chose to hire a driver/tour guide for our stay. It was an amazing experience.
We selected The Elite Duchy Touring Company run by Pete Long. He met us at the Newquay Airport and took the scenic route to our hotel (Tregenna Castle in St. Ives). He helped us make a two day itinerary based on our interests. He was completely flexible, a fabulous driver (ex London Policeman) with a comfortable Land Rover.
We spent the first day touring West Cornwall and day two Lizard and Fowey. The coast is just so beautiful. We loved the gorgeous beaches and quaint harbors. We are also fans of the ancient sites and Pete took us to several. It was fascinating to learn about the mining industry and went to many of the Poldark sites. We had never heard of Poldark until we decided to come to Cornwall. It was a photo of Kynance Cove that got us interested in Cornwall and our morning there was a highlight of our stay. Pete also brought us to his favorite places for cream tea and pasties as well as a charming restaurant in St. Mawes.
We loved the location of our hotel and the apartment we stayed in. the view and the grounds were amazing.
On our 4th day he picked us up at our hotel to go back to the airport.
We saw so much in such a short time. I wish we had stayed longer!!
If we ever go back, we would call Pete in a heartbeat.

Oh my, what a treasured find! My husband and I love exploring wee back roads in the states, but immediately realized the super wee, winding roads through Cornwall were more challenging than we expected. Peter Long and his Elite Duchy Touring company were the the perfect cure! He was so accommodating to our desire to explore the small villages and backroads of Cornwall, avoiding many of the super touristy areas. The day, the drive, the company, the insight...all were perfection! We came away feeling as though we had a better understanding of Cornwall than we would ever have gotten on our own. Can't wait to explore more backroads with Peter in the future!

Fantastic day out. Taken to Tintagel in a Land rover, the owner/chauffeur was very knowledgeable on the legend of King Arthur and the round table. With impressive facts about Cornwall and its history. A day out tailored to our specific request. Stopping at shops, restaurants and pubs during the tour. Nothing was too much trouble.
Would highly recommend this touring company to make your stay in Cornwall worth the visit.
